There is no trans activist establishment. There is no echo chamber. What I meet is a widely diverse group of people with different backgrounds and different ideas about what it means to be trans and what causes such identities. The only echo chamber that is harmful to the transgender community is the one that uses such narratives to try to invalidate the transgender struggle by portraying trans activists as ideological fanatics. That only serves the right wing extremists and the TERFs who are trying to force all trans people back into the closet.
