Yesterday I reported on Cloudflare dropping the transphobic Kiwi Farms site because of it trolling. It moved over to another provider of internet security services: Russian DDos-Guard.

DDos-Guard has now announced on Telegram that they are abandoning Kiwi Farms as well:

DDoS-Guard stopped providing services for the Kiwi Farms forum

On September 4, administrators of the Kiwi Farms forum enabled DDoS-Guard protection for their domain.

As a DDoS protection provider, we provide services to clients around the world and are not required to moderate content on their sites. We are not authorized to decide on the recognition of a particular web resource as violating the law. To do this, there are specialized bodies, on official notifications of which we respond and restrict access to the resource, if it is justified.

However, today we did not wait for the official notice and stopped providing services for the Kiwi Farms forum. We’ve received a lot of complaints from users that it violates the acceptable use policy.

After analyzing the content of the site, we have decided to stop providing DDoS protection services for kiwifarms.ru. Thanks to everyone who brought this incident to our attention.

Kiwi Farms are still available on at least one domain, but they no longer have the kind of protection companies like Cloudflare and DDoS-Guard provides agains cyber attacks.
